IAPS, Icon Academy of Professional Study, Biswanath Centre, was established in 2009 with a focus on imparting Computer, Technical, and Vocational training. It stands out as the only institute on the North Bank providing both Computer and Technical education, in collaboration with the Governments of Assam and India. Our training methodology emphasizes theory, practical application, and field training. This approach has led to the success of many students, with some being employed in various companies within the state, while others have ventured into establishing their own service centers, data entry centers, e-governance works, DTP centers, video editing studios, and more. The rapid growth of our economy, particularly in segments such as entertainment electronics, industrial electronics, automobile, electrical, mobile phones, and computer hardware, has created a substantial demand for trained professionals. We take pride in bridging this gap by successfully training thousands of students in a relatively short period. What sets our training apart from that provided by polytechnics or Government ITIs is our curriculum and methodology, which are intensely practical and tailored to meet the demands of various industries. Graduates from our institute are fully equipped to enter their chosen professions upon completion of their training. Consequently, there is consistently high demand for candidates trained at our centers. Our mission is to provide every student with a platform to refine their skills and excel in the computer-literate world. We aim to sharpen their existing skills, help them master new technologies, and strive towards our motto of "Bringing People and Computers Together Successfully." Looking ahead, IAPS Biswanath aspires to be recognized as a model Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Computer Training Institute in the country. We aim to meet the prevailing needs of technical manpower through quality, efficient, and resourceful training. Our target is to serve as a source for generating quality human resources through industry-oriented courses that foster self-reliance, employability, and entrepreneurship. We focus on Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT) and allied fields, aiming to provide world-class education and training to society.
